How does the 5-stage filtration process work?

The system uses five distinct filtration stages: PP cotton removes sediment and large particles, activated carbon eliminates chlorine and odours, the precision filter catches smaller contaminants, the 0.0001μm RO membrane blocks bacteria and heavy metals and finally the strontium-enriched mineralising filter adds beneficial minerals back into the water for improved taste and health benefits.

What does the 4:1 efficiency ratio mean for water consumption?

The 4:1 ratio means the system produces 4 litres of purified water for every 1 litre of wastewater. This is significantly more efficient than traditional RO systems that typically waste 3-4 litres per litre of clean water. With the 4-litre tank capacity, you'll get approximately 3.2 litres of purified water per cycle whilst only wasting 0.8 litres.

How often do I need to replace the filters?

The filters have a lifespan of up to one year under normal usage conditions. The smart LED panel monitors filter life and displays alerts when replacement is needed. Actual replacement frequency depends on your water quality and usage volume. The system will indicate when TDS levels suggest filter performance is declining.

Can I use this system in a caravan or RV?

Yes, the portable design makes it perfect for RVs, caravans and camping. It only requires an AC power source and doesn't need permanent plumbing connections. The compact 36.8cm x 28.4cm x 47.2cm dimensions fit easily on countertops. The included portable pitcher allows you to store purified water for use away from the unit.

What contaminants does the system remove?

The system effectively reduces TDS (total dissolved solids), lead, chromium, chlorine, bacteria and various other harmful substances. The 0.0001μm RO membrane blocks particles much smaller than bacteria, whilst the UV and silver ion purification eliminates microorganisms. The activated carbon stage removes chlorine taste and odours for better-tasting water.

How does the rotating base feature work?

The 360-degree rotating tray at the base allows you to turn the entire unit without lifting it. This makes it easy to access the water dispenser from different angles and positions. You can also remove the drip trap easily for water replacement and cleaning. This design eliminates the space limitations of fixed under-sink systems.

What do the preset volume modes do?

The four preset modes deliver exact measurements: 6oz for espresso making, 12oz for baby bottles, 15oz for fitness bottles and 33oz for electric kettles.
